Content in Digital Signage Networks is an important parameter for the success of a network.
The choice of the proper content depends on the types of the situations that we are confronting in an installation.
There are 4 types of situations. Each of them requires differentiated content :
Situation 1 - When people watch for only 3 seconds (train stations, malls...)
Appropriate Content: very impactful short films (20'') with strong images that can be understood in no time. Content must be just a photo and almost no text.
Situation 2 - When people watch for only 10 seconds : (stores...)
Appropriate Content: relatively short films (20''). Any kind of short content can be good.
Situation 3 - When people can watch for 10 minutes and are captive
(airports, queues, waiting areas...).
Appropriate Content: longer films of 20'', 30'' or 45' and a series of several of them.
Many contents can apply, for example relaxing images or even short stories.
Situation 4 - When the content on your screens becomes another way
to communicate.
Appropriate Content: digital art on screens without any commercials
to create an ambiance in the location (in hotel lobbies, reception halls...)
