Alphavision proud sponsor of TEDx Thessaloniki

The first TEDx in Thessaloniki (greek language) was held on Sunday 09/05/2010.

Alphavision was sponsoring  the event by providing projection equipment and specialized personel  for the lightning of the "Olympion" theater where the event was took place.

What is a TEDx? According to  TED.com site

"TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.

At TEDx events, unique talks given by live speakers combine with TEDTalks videos to spark deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis."

So this time it was Thessaloniki's turn to host the event. Four Speakers and videos from the original "TED talks" were the main attraction of the event. Alphavision was member of the organizing committee by sponsoring  with its equipment and using every resource for the success of the event.

Two hours after organizers, sponsors and crowd were leaving the theater "Olympion" of Thessalonikis International Film Festival, with a big smile on their faces. A big success that only raised the bar, for the next event that Alphavision will, once again, participate.
